The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia attended the international conference on “Constitutional Reform and the Challenges of the Development of Constitutional review body” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbeкistan

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an international conference on “Constitutional Reform and the Challenges of the Development of Constitutional review body” was held in Tashkent on November 11-12, 2025.

The international conference was opened by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, M.Abdusalomov, and he delivered a congratulatory speech.

The international conference was participated by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as judges of the Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Germany, and Belarus, and other distinguished guests.

The opening ceremony of the international conference was attended online by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, G.Bayasgalan, and the Head of the Protocol and Foreign Relations Department of the Secretariat, G.Bilguun.

         During this event, a ceremony was held to officially hand over the presidency of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) from the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Constitutional Court of Mongolia is one of the founders of the AACC and became a full member in 2010. The AACC currently has 21 members. Incidentally, the Constitutional Court of Mongolia presided over the AACC for 2021-2023.
