The Justices of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia Received Mr. François Pillet, Member of the Constitutional Council of the French Republic, on a Courtesy Visit

Mr. Munkhsaikhan Odonkhuu and Ms. Enkhtuya Erdenee, Justices of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, met with Mr. François Pillet, Member of the Constitutional Council of the French Republic, on 13 July 2026 at the Constitutional Court.

At the beginning of the meeting, Justice Munkhsaikhan Odonkhuu expressed his pleasure at meeting once again with Mr. François Pillet. He recalled the official visit of a delegation from the Constitutional Court of Mongolia to the Constitutional Council of the French Republic in February 2025, describing it as highly productive. He noted that the visit had provided an excellent opportunity to learn about the origins, development, and experience of France’s constitutional review system and to exchange views on strengthening future cooperation between the two institutions.

Mr. François Pillet, Member of the Constitutional Council of the French Republic, expressed his pleasure at meeting once again with the Justices of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia. He highlighted the productive cooperation that the constitutional review institutions of Mongolia and France have developed over the years and expressed confidence that this cooperation would continue to deepen in the future.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation between the constitutional review institutions of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Corinne Pereira da Silva, Ambassador of the French Republic to Mongolia, and Ms. U.Nyamkhuu, former Ambassador of Mongolia to the French Republic.
