The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia participated in the 6th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice

The Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Spain and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe jointly organized the 6th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ) under the theme “Human Rights of Future Generations” in Madrid, Spain, from 28 to 30 October 2025.

88 delegations from constitutional courts and equivalent institutions from 125 member countries of the 6th Congress of WCCJ shared their experiences over three days, and discussed the challenges and opportunities facing the protection of the rights of future generations in a panel sessions on the independence of constitutional courts, the preservation of natural resources and the environment, the preservation of humankind’s cultural heritage, and access to scientific knowledge and new technologies.

The 6th Congress presented the real challenges that the World Constitutional Courts faced from political groups, authorities, and other parties trying to influence their independence, including the use of social media, the dissemination of hate speech, direct attacks, attempts to remove justices (through legislation or directly), and campaigns against constitutional justices aimed at undermining public trust.

Additionally, the 6th Congress of the WCCJ issued the Madrid Communiqué.

The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, G.Bayasgalan, and Justice E.Enkhtuya participated in the 6th Congress of the WCCJ.
