The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, Mr. Bayasgalan Gungaa, and Justice Mr. Batragchaa Ragchaa participated in the international symposium on “The Future of Constitutional Justice in the 21st Century” organized by the Turkish Constitutional Court on April 24-27, 2025, in Istanbul to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye.
The international symposium and opening ceremony were opened by Mr. Kadir Özkaya, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye. In his speech noted that in today’s globalised world, constitutional justice was no longer shaped solely within national boundaries, but influenced also by universal legal norms and the jurisprudence of international courts. He accordingly pointed to the cooperation among constitutional courts and higher judiciary of different countries, which was of critical importance for strengthening the rule of law and ensuring more effective protection of individual rights, as well as establishing justice on a global scale.
During the international symposium, the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, Mr. G.Bayasgalan, delivered a speech congratulating the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye.
In addition, among those attending the event were the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, members of constitutional/supreme courts from numerous countries, members of regional human rights courts, representatives of international organisations, members of Turkish higher judicial bodies, and other distinguished guests.
