A plenary session of all Justices of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia was held on 26 June 2026 to consider the election of the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.
Pursuant to Article 6.1 of the Law on the Constitutional Court, “Justices of the Court shall nominate from its composition a person (persons) for the post of a Chief Justice, discuss candidates at a plenary session, and shall by secret vote elect a Chief Justice with a majority of the total number of votes,” Mr. Erdenebulgan Juujaa, Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, was unanimously elected as Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia.
He has been serving as Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia since he was appointed by Resolution No. 31 of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, dated 26 March 2021, upon the nomination of the Supreme Court of Mongolia.
